PENTHROX is indicated for the emergency relief of moderate to severe pain in conscious adult patients with trauma and associated pain.1
Dose of PENTHROX should not exceed 6 mL (2 x 3 mL) in a single day.1
PENTHROX should be used in single unique episodes only. Re-use at all in a particular patient should be well separated by time. The frequency at which PENTHROX can be safely used is not established.1
PENTHROX should be self-administered under supervision of a person trained in its administration, using the hand held PENTHROX Inhaler.1
